Different and eye-catching blooms are becoming more and more popular for floral arrangements, and wedding flowers in particular. They help to add a bit of personality to a bouquet or centerpiece, and can be the perfect touch on your arrangement. It’s truly amazing, the wide variety of flowers and plants that can be used for floral design!
If you want something that’s going to make a very bold statement, and be the focal point of your bouquet, you might want to find something like what is shown in the top left corner. This flower would provide a wow factor for whatever you use it in.
If you want something a bit more natural-looking, you could try either of the flowers on the right. These are still going to be be attention-grabbing, but in a completely different way. They look like something you might find in a forest or field rather than a bouquet, but they can work really well in an arrangement, you just have to know what to pair them with.
And if you’re looking for something different, but not quite so unusual, you should use something like Allium, our Flower of the Week (bottom left). This flower is different, and it adds a little pop of color, but in a subtle way.
These kinds of flowers are so interesting, they might have their own Flower of the Week post very soon!
